When her beloved aunt Jane suddenly passed away, Ann found herself faced with having to clear her home, which was filled with cherished mementos and everyday belongings accumulated over the many years of her life.
Ann was struggling with grief from the loss of her aunt and became overwhelmed by having to deal with her home. She hired my original service, DoughNation Services LLC, to donate as much as possible and provide a report of the tax deduction value of Jane’s items. Ann truly wanted her aunt's belongings to help people and told me how much comfort that brought her.
I discovered a profound sense of honor in assisting Ann and her family with their donation. Afterwards, Ann remarked how helpful it would have been if I could have taken care of everything - the things that still needed to be recycled or simply disposed of properly.
It was her remark that led me to create Gentle Disposition and offer a caring service that relieves families from this overwhelming task. In founding Gentle Disposition I unexpectedly discovered the most meaningful work of my life, and I feel a profound satisfaction helping families in this way.
